WHAT IS SVAK?
The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) is a strategic plan designed to meet the mobility needs of people and businesses in cities and their surrounding areas, with the aim of improving quality of life.
It is based on existing design practices and takes into account the basic principles of integration, participatory processes, and evaluation.
URBAN MOBILITY – TRADITIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLANNING
The key differences between urban mobility and traditional transportation planning are:

LEGISLATIVE FRAMEWORK FOR SVAK
The main institutional framework (Greek and EU) for the preparation of the SBACs is as follows:
